Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Factories in England were known for the production of textiles and cotton. The textile industry was first seen in 1730 in England, but the factories started increasing in the 18th century. However, the cotton textile factories boomed in the 19th century only. From the start of the 19th century, many changes were seen in the production process. It made all the functions possible at one time. In addition, a series of inventions in each step of the production process, like carding, twisting and spinning, increased the output of each worker. As a result, they made the quality better than in the earlier production. Thus cotton industry boomed in the 19th century.
