Detailed Solution

Civil Disobedience was held in 1930. Civil Disobedience began under Mahatma Gandhi. It was founded after the celebration of Independence Day in 1930.
The civil disobedience movement began with the famous Dandi march when Gandhi left Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad on foot with 78 other members. After arriving in Dandi, Gandhi broke the salt rule. It was considered illegal to make salt as it was the only state government. The satyagraha of salt led to the widespread acceptance of the Public Disobedience movement throughout the country. This incident was a sign of the people's disregard for government policies. It created infidelity on the part of the British government and laid the foundation for the liberation struggle.
