Retardation of truck.

Retardation of crane,

a2=0.8 g=8 m/s2

Displacement of truck, before it finally stops is

S1=u22a1=(15)22×9=12.5 m

and displacement of crane

  S2=u22a2=(15)22×8=14.06 m    S2-S1=1.56 m
