Detailed Solution

H2SO4 is 98% by weight

wt. of H2SO4=98 gm

wt. of solution = 100 gm

  Volume of solution =1001.80mL=1001.80×1000 litre

MH2SO4=9898×1001.80×1000=18.014

Let V mL of this H2SO4 are used to prepare 1 litre of 0.1 M H2SO4 solution.

M1V1=M2V2V×18.014=1000×0.1V=5.55mL
