In Lahore 1929 session, the Congress put the demand of Poorna Swaraj. This session was terribly vital as a result of this city session the outstanding party Indian National Congress, took the resolution of Poorna Swaraj for complete independence. In this, the Indian flag was hoisted by Pandit Jawahar Lal national leader on the bank of the Ravi watercourse. The Congress convention began in the city in Dec 1929 and Pandit national leader was the president of the convention. He mentioned during this session that “there’s just one goal sooner than the us, that is full freedom.” The declaration of Purna Swaraj was propagated at the Indian National Congress on nineteenth Dec 1929.
