Detailed Solution

Coniferous forests have tall trees with leaves of conical shape.
Taiga vegetation is another term for coniferous woods found at higher elevations in the Northern Hemisphere. These forests are made up of tall, evergreen trees with softwoods. Coniferous trees are conical in form and feature needle-like leaves. The evergreen trees develop independently of one another. Pine, Deodar, Silver Fir, Spruce, Cedar, and other coniferous trees are examples.
Coniferous trees' conical form benefits their ability to adapt to their surroundings. Snow might fall on the leaves and branches of the conical-shaped tree rather than building up. The sturdy, needle-like leaves prevent snow buildup. Due to less snow buildup, the tree is more likely to remain erect and avoid leaf rotting. At higher altitudes, the design also helps with wind resistance.
