Detailed Solution

Given that a water droplet's diameter is d=0.2 mm

 radius, r=0.1mm=10-4m

Pressure outside of the droplet is,

p0=1.5N/cm2=1.5×104N/m2

Surface tension, T=0.08N/m

Now the pressure inside the droplet

p=2Tr+p0=2×0.0810-4+1.5×104

p=0.16×104+1.5×104=(0.16+1.5)104=1.66×104N/m2

p=16.6×10-1N/cm2

Hence the correct answer is 16.6
