Detailed Solution

Corn, chillies, tea, coffee and potatoes were the new crops and beverages that arrived in the Indian sub-continent in the medieval period. Due to the magnitude and diversity of the technological developments that occurred between 700 and 1750, historians found it extremely challenging to analyse those 1,000 years. New technologies began to emerge at various stages during this period, such as the Persian Wheel for irrigation, the spinning wheel for weaving, and weapons for combat. The new foods and beverages that made their way to the subcontinent were potatoes, corn, chillies, tea, and coffee. Keep in mind that humans, who also contributed other ideas, were responsible for all of these innovations, including new technology and crops. The social, political, economic, and cultural realms all underwent a substantial transformation as a result.
