Detailed Solution

CPIM was founded in 1964.
On November 7, 1964, the Communist Party of India (CPI) split into two separate parties. As of 2022, the CPI(M) is a member of the Left Democratic Front in Kerala and the Secular Progressive Alliance in Tamil Nadu, two state governments. Nine state legislatures around the country have CPIM representatives. The Communist Party of India (Marxist), also known as CPI(M) or CPM, is a communist political organisation in India. Regarding membership and seats in the legislature, it is the largest communist party in India and one of the national parties. The Communist Party of India is governed by the All-India Party Congress (Marxist). The Central Committee is the supreme authority for making decisions between two-party congresses.
