Criteria to be selected as a judge of the Supreme Court is the person must be a citizen of India.
The judge of the supreme court has to satisfy various criteria such as:
1) To be selected as a magistrate of the Supreme Court, an individual must be a resident of India.
2) Individual must be a judge of a High Court or two or more such courts. 3) Individual must have been an advocator of the High Court, or two or more such Courts shall be in succession for not less than ten years.
4) Individuals can select, in the opinion of the President, an eminent jurist.
5) The service age of a supreme court judge is 65.
