Detailed Solution

PDadabhai Naoroji wrote the book Poverty and Unbritish Rule in India. He was a well-known figure in the Indian National Congress. Dadabhai Naoroji was involved in the wealth transfer from India to England during the colonial era. According to Dadabhai Naoroji's "drain of wealth" theory, which was first forth in 1867, Britain was completely draining India of its resources. One of the reasons the drain theory is credited to Naoroji is because he decided to calculate India's net national profit and, as a result, the effects of colonisation on the country. Dadabhai utilised his economics expertise to look for proof that Britain was stealing money from India. He claimed that Britain was losing blood and resources.
