Darwin's finches exemplify

Cladogenesis is an evolutionary change of a particular species in which new species are branched off from a common ancestral species. It is a branching evolution. There are many species of finches on the Galapagos Islands, each filling a different niche on different islands. All of them evolved from one ancestral species, which colonized the islands only a few million years ago.
