i) Endospermic seeds : If the endosperm persists in the mature seeds, such seeds are called endospermic seeds.
Eg : Castor, Coconut.
ii) Non-endospermic seeds : If the endosperm is completely consumed by the developing embryo by the time ovule develops into seed, such seeds are called non-endospermic seeds.
