Budding in Hydra is an asexual reproduction process where a new Hydra develops as an outgrowth (bud) on the parent’s body.

1. Formation of Bud: A small bud appears on the parent Hydra due to cell division at one site.
2. Growth: The bud grows gradually, developing tentacles and a mouth.
3. Development: It receives nutrition from the parent while growing.
4. Separation: When fully grown, the bud detaches and becomes an independent organism.
