Developing countries came together to form the G-77 coalition in the 1960s. It can be said that it resulted from the two successive world wars. In addition to this, it was also the result of colonisation. Although it appeared after much longer, it can be related directly or indirectly to colonialism and world wars. In G-77, when it was formed, 77 countries were there, and all were developing; at present, 135 countries are part of this coalition. It demands a new international economic order in which there is less dominance of western and developed countries.
