Detailed Solution

Dictatorship is a form of government in which the power rests with one individual.
Dictatorship means having all the authority in one hand. It is the form of government in which one person or a small group possesses absolute power without effective constitutional limitations. Dictatorship is all about total control. However, the person who rules over the country under a dictatorship is a dictator but cannot usually be named as such. He might be a king, prime minister, or even parliament. In this form of government, the leader has absolute control over the citizens’ lives. If there is a constitution for the country, then the dictator has control over that.
