Different elements of Mughal architecture fused for the first time during the reign of Shah Jahan. Many monuments were built during the reign of Shah Jahan, specifically in Agra and Delhi. Some examples are the ceremonial halls of public and private audiences, which was the Diwan-i-Khas and Diwan-i-Aam.
