Differentiate between broadcasting and seed drill?

Broadcasting means scattering seeds by hand, while seed drill means placing seeds in rows using a tool. In broadcasting, seeds are thrown randomly on the field by hand. It is an old and less accurate method. Seeds may not be evenly spread and might not grow properly. 

In contrast, a seed drill is a modern tool that plants seeds at the right depth and with equal spacing in rows. This improves crop growth and saves seeds. Seed drills are more efficient and are used in modern farming.
