The wave length of the lines in each group can be calculated from Bohr's formula
1λ=RH1n12-1n22
i) Lyman Series :
The lymen series is obtained when electrons jump to 1st orbit (n1=1) from outer orbits (n2=2, 3, 5....).
1λ=RH1(1)2-1n22 where n2=2,3,5
This series lies in the ultra violet region which is the visible region.
ii) Balmer series :
The Balmer series is obtained when electrons jump to 2nd orbit (n1=2) from outer orbits (n2 =3,4,5....)
1λ=RH1(2)2-1n22 where n2=3,4,5..
This series lies in the visible spectrum.
iii) Paschen series :
The paschen series is obtained when electrons jump to third orbit (n1=3) from outer orbit (n2 = 4,5,6)
This series lies in the infrared region.
iv) Brackett Series :
The brackett series is obtained when electrons jump to fourth orbit (n1= 4) from outer orbits (n2 = 5,6,7...)
1λ=RH142-1n22 where n2=5,6,7
This series also lies in the infrared region.
v) P fund series :
The P fund series is obtained when electron jump to fifth orbit (n1= 5) from outer orbits (n2= 6,7,8..)
1λ=RH152-1r22   where n2=6,7,8
This series also lies in the infrared region.
