DNA dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the formation of RNA strand on template strand or anti coding strand or antisense strand or code complement strand of DNA.
(2) The other strand of DNA, which is not transcribed, is called coding strand or code copy or sense strand.
(3) Alpha strand is right-handed, coiled polypeptide chain in secondary structure.
(4) Anti-strand is any strand of nucleic acid whose sequence is complementary to the opposing strand. To a template strand, coding strand is anti-strand and vice versa.
