The decision of Muhammad Yunus to form a new political party was right in its spirit of helping the poor people of Bangladesh. He was a renowned Economist. He was full of knowledge and compassion towards the needy when he thought of forming a political party. Many people expressed numerous fears regarding the formation of "Nagrik Shakti", the political party of Mohammad Yunus. However, it is baseless to do so. Muhammad Yunus could have been a Nobel Prize winner as an Economist, but he was also a Political Activist at the time of the Nagrik Shakti. Officials belonging to the bureaucracy were more critical of it. But the fears stated are illogically based and do not comply. It is very reasonable to try to develop direct relations with the poor and other people living in the countryside and those who reside in the towns.
