Kinetic Energy is a form of energy that an object of mass (m) or body has due to virtue of its motion and is formulated as
K.= 12 mv2 Where = mass of the object and
 = velocity
So, if the mass of the body is '2m.'
Then kinetic energy will be,
K.= 12×(2mv2)
       mv2
The above equation shows that the mass of an object is directly proportional to its Kinetic energy. So, if we double the mass, the kinetic energy will also get doubled.
