Detailed Solution

During Alivardi Khan's reign, the banking house of Jagat Seth became highly prosperous. Murshid Quli Khan broke away from Mughal rule after being chosen to serve as the naib, or assistant, to the ruler of Bengal. All Mughal jagirdars were transferred to Orissa, and he mandated a thorough review of Bengal's revenue. As a result, all zamindars received cash payments with considerable fervour. During Alivardi Khan's rule in Bengal, it was clear that the state and bankers had a tight working connection. The Jagat Seth family was a prosperous merchant, banker, and money lender from Murshidabad in Bengal during the time of the Nawabs of Bengal. Under Alivardi Khan's leadership, Jagat Seth's banking firm experienced significant growth.
