Okazaki's fragments are fragments of DNA strand (lagging strand of DNA) formed on template DNA strand with 5’  3’ polarity. These fragments are joined by DNA ligase, whose catalytic activity is seen away from replication fork.
(1) During DNA replication, Okazaki fragments are used to elongate the lagging strand away from the replication fork and not towards replication fork.
(2), (4) Leading stands are not associated with Okazaki fragments.
