Detailed Solution

During the apartheid, voting rights in South Africa were given only to whites.
The British Parliament enacted the South Africa Act in 1909 during the apartheid. Up until 1961, the Act served as the Union's governing document. Only White people were allowed to cast ballots. Women and all other racial groups were not asked to participate in discussions about the future of their nation; only white men were. In various ways, this was strange. Nevertheless, since the 1850s, eligible black men in the cape have had the freedom to vote, and they will continue so long as they have sufficient property, assets, and education.
