Detailed Solution

During the Civil Disobedience Movement, Abdul Ghaffar Khan was arrested in April 1930.
The colonial government started detaining the Congress leaders due to its concerns over the developments of the Civil Disobedience Movement. In many palaces, this resulted in violent clashes. In April 1930, when Abdul Ghaffar Khan, a devoted follower of Mahatma Gandhi, was taken into custody, outraged mobs protested in the streets of Peshawar while being met by armoured cars and police fire, and many people died.
