During aerobic breakdown of Glucose, cytoplasm is initially involved in Glycolysis. With the availability of oxygen, the glycolytic NADH are oxidized in ETS with the involvement of inner membrane. The protons pumped into the perimitochondrial space move through F0 by facilitated diffusion due to which ATP are formed from ADP and Pi in the F1 of F particle.
