Detailed Solution

Dzo are  also called  yak-cows.
The word Dzo technically refers to a male hybrid, and females are known as Zemo or Zome. In Mongolian, it is called Khainag. There is also the English portmanteau battle, a combination of the words yak and cow, and yakow, a blend of yak and cow. Dzo, a yaks and male cattle hybrid, has always been integral to Ladakh's agriculture. At 9,800 feet, Ladakh is one of the coldest and scariest areas. Yak is a significant and studied animal, but locals like Dzo. It is more mobile and suitable for ploughing fields.
