Assuming the third side of an isosceles triangle be x.
Given that, each of the sides of an isosceles triangle is twice as large as the third side
So, the other two sides will be 2x.
Also, given the perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 30cm.
So, we have an equation x+2x+2x=30  
Finding the third side triangle that is equal to value of x:
x+2x+2x=30 5x=30 x= 30 5 x=6  
Now the other two sides
=2x
=2(6)
=12
Hence, the length of each side of an isosceles triangle are 6cm, 12cm and 12cm.
