Earth’s magnetism is due to

In the earth, the liquid iron that makes up the outer core passes through a magnetic field.

This causes an electric current to flow within the liquid metal.

The electric current in turn, creates its own magnetic field.

So the moment of the liquid iron core is the reason of earth’s magnetic field.
