(a) Restriction enzymes, also called restriction endonucleases or molecular scissors, recognize a specific sequence of nucleotides in double stranded DNA and cut the DNA at a specific location

DNA is a genetic material which is responsible for transfer of genetic information from one generation to another generation.

(b) Chitinase is an enzyme used to break the cell wall of fungi and plants and allows entry of foreign DNA in plant cells.
