Detailed Solution

Lewis's acid: A compound which accept lone pair of electrons is called Lewis acid.
Types of Lewis acids:
a) Simple cations: Ag+, Co+3
b) Compounds in which central atom has incomplete octet.
Eg : BF3, BCl3
c) Molecules having multiple bonds between atoms of dissimilar electronegativities.
Eg : CO2, SO2
Lewis's base: A compound which donate lone pair of electrons is called Lewis base.
Types of Lewis base:
a) Simple anions: Cl, OH
b) Molecules with one or more lone pair ofelectrons on central atom.
Eg : H2O, NH3
c) Molecules with multiple bonds
Eg : CO, NO
