Detailed Solution

The term "boycott" means refusal to deal with and associate with people and participate in an activity. Indians boycott, buy and use foreign goods. Mahatma Gandhi launched a swadeshi movement, along with a boycott movement, alongside the swadeshi movement on August 7, 1905, in Calcutta. The Swadeshi movement, or the boycott movement, included products made in India; for example, the use of khadi and the burning of British-made goods.
