Detailed Solution

Father Gapon led the procession of workers at St. Petersburg. Bloody Sunday refers to the events of Sunday, January 22, 1905, in St. Petersburg, Russia, when members of the Imperial Guard opened fire on unarmed protesters led by Father Georgy Gapon as they marched towards the Winter Palace to deliver a petition to Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Four members of the Assembly of Russian Workers were fired from the Putilov Iron Works in St. Petersburg in December 1904. The rest of the Putilov workforce went on strike after the plant refused to rehire the workers, and other factories did the same. The workmen were taken to the Winter Palace by Father Gapon. When the procession arrived at the Palace, the police and the Cossacks attacked it.
