We are given,
Father's age is three times the sum of ages of his two children.
After 5 years, his age will be twice the sum of the age of two children.
Let the age of the father is x and some of the age of two children is y years.
According to the question,
x = 3y
y=x3                 ……(1)
x + 5 = 2(y + 10)
x + 5 = 2y + 20
x - 2y = 15
Substitute (1) in above equation, we get,
x-2(x3)=15
3x-2x3=15
x=45
The father’s age is 45years.
Hence, option 3 is correct.
