Wular Lake is in the Bandipora district. The Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district is home to the sizable freshwater lake known as Wular Lake (sometimes spelt Wullar). The Jhelum River feeds the lake basin, which was created due to geological action. Depending on the season, the lake's area ranges from 12 to 100 square miles (30 to 260 square kilometres). One of six Indian wetlands recognised as Ramsar sites is the lake. It is also said that Ula Lake is a piece of the former Satisar Lake. This lake's grounds also serve as a well-liked location for sunsets.
