Tungabhadra and Bhima are the tributaries of the river Krishna. It has many tributaries as it flows through four states: Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. Its total length is 1290 k.m. After that, it drains into the Bay of Bengal. Its major left-bank tributaries are Bhima, Musi, and Munneru, whereas its major right-bank tributaries are Koyna, Varna, Penchganga, Dudhganga, Ghatprabha, Malprabha, and Tungabhadra.
