Let x be the first even number. We also know that his next three even numbers are (x+2) , (x+4) , and (x+6) . We also have the relationship

(x) + (x + 2) + (x + 4) + (x + 6) = 356

. By solving this equation, we get all four numbers we need.
Now that we know that the sum of the four consecutive numbers is 356, we have:

Now, transposing 12 from left or left to right or right gives:

Dividing both sides by 4, we get:
x=86Therefore, the first even number x=86, the second even number

(x + 2) = 86 + 2 = 88

the third even number (x+4)= 86+4=90 the fourth even number
