Additive inverse of a number is the number which when added to the that number, then the result of addition will be equal to zero.
Suppose there is number x. then its additive inverse will be –x such that,
x+(-x)=0
Now the given complex number is,

By the above definition additive inverse of 1-i  should be-1-i. Thus,
 1-i+-1+i
=-1+i+1-i
=0 Hence, -1-i  or -1+i is the additive inverse of the given number.
