We know that volume of the sphere = (4/3) πr3

We know, the amount of water displaced by a solid spherical ball when it is completely immersed in water is equal to its volume.

(i) Diameter = 28 cm

Radius, r = 28/2 cm = 14 cm

Using the above formula,

Volume of the ball = (4/3) × (22/7) × 14

= 34496/3

Hence, the volume of the ball is 34496/3 cm3.

(ii) Diameter = 0.21 m

Radius of the ball = 0.21/2 m = 0.105 m

Using the above formula,

Volume of the ball = (4/3)× (22/7)×(0.105)3 m3

= 0.004851 m3

Hence, the volume of the ball = 0.004851 m3
