Given the equation is, x-y=0.
y=x              …eq(i)
Now we also know that,
 y=mx+c  is the equation of the straight line, where m is the slope of line and
c is the y intercept (where line cuts y - axis).
Therefore,
 y=mx+c      …. eq(ii)
And, if we compare the equation (i) and (ii )
y=1×x+0
y=m×x+c
m = 1
And as we know that m = tanθ.
tanθ=1
Therefore, the angle can be described as θ=π4.
