Detailed Solution

  Given AC= 24 cm
BC = 10cm
centre  of circle = 0  Since, AOB is a night angle triangle.  So, AC2 + BC2 = AB2 = 242 + 102  = AB2  = AB2 = 576 + 100 = 676  = AB = √676 = 26 cm
As the diameter of circle.  So, AB =  2𝜋 = 26
=𝜋 = 26/2  = 13 cm
Area of triangle = ½ length . breath  = ½ x 24x10 = 120 cm2  Area of circle = 𝜋r2  So, area of semicircle = 𝜋r2 /2 = 3.14x132 / 2 = 265.33 cm2  So, area of shaded region = 265.33 - 100 = 145. 33 cm2     Type-   CBSE
