Detailed Solution

Given, the two parallel sides of the trapezium are 8.2 cm and 10 cm respectively.

The distance between two parallel sides (height) of the trapezium = 4 cm.

Sum of parallel sides of the trapezium = 8.2 + 10 = 18.2 cm.

Area of the trapezium = 12x (sum of parallel sides) x (height).

 =12×(18.2)×4 =36.4 cm2

Therefore, the area of the trapezium is 36.4 cm2.
