Detailed Solution

Given,
The conical vessel's radius (r) =7 cm
Slant height (l) = 25 cm
Since, Vertical height (h)=l2-r2
252-72
=625-49
=576
=24 cm
So, Volume (V)=13πr2h
=13×227×7×24  cm3
154×8
=1232 cm3
Capacity in liter,
=1232×11000                          (1000 cm3 =1 liter)
=1.232 litres     (ii) Height (h)=12cm
Slant height l=13cm
Radius =l2-r2=(13)2-(12)2=169-144=25=5cmNow, volume we can calculate as,
V=13πr2h=13×227×5×5×12cm3=22007cm3=314.28cm3
Now, capacity in liters =22007×1000=2270
=2270=0.314 litres
Option 3 is correct.
