Detailed Solution

We are given three numbers, and we have to find the HCF of those three numbers using Euclid’s Division algorithm.
The three numbers are 𝑎 = 180
𝑏 = 252
𝑐 = 324
Euclid’s division algorithm is given by
𝑎 = 𝑏𝑞 + 𝑟, where 𝑞 and 𝑟 are numbers such that 0 ≤ 𝑟 < 𝑏
Now, applying this to the numbers 𝑎 and 𝑏, i.e., 180 and 252, we get
252 = 180 × 1 + 72
Then 180 = 72 × 2 + 36
And 72 = 36 × 2 + 0
So, the HCF of 180 and 252 is 36.

We have to find the HCF of 36 and 324 using this formula.
324 = 36 × 9 + 0
So, the HCF of 36 and 324 is 36.
Hence, the HCF of 180, 252 and 324 is 36
