It is given height of the cylinder whose volume is 1.54 m 3  and diameter of the base is 140 cm.
Volume of a cylinder =π r 2 h  
Radius (r)  of the cylinder is,
r= 140 2 cm  r= 70cm  
Convert Radius ( r  ) to meters,
r= 70 100 m r= 7 10 m  
Height h of the cylinder is,
Substitute value of radius r and volume in the formula,
Volume of a cylinder is;
V=π r 2 h 1.54= 22 7 × 7 10 × 7 10 ×h h= 1.54×100 22×7 h= 154 154 h=1 m  
Therefore, height h of the cylinder = 1 m.
Hence option (1) is correct.
