For the given cuboid we have,
Length l= 8 m
Breadth b= 5 m
Height h= 3.5 cm
Lateral surface area of cuboid,

LSA = 2 h (l + b)

= 2 \times 3.5 (8 + 5)

= 7 \times 45.5

= 91 m^{2}

Total surface area of cuboid,

TSA = 2 (lb + bh + hl)

\begin{matrix} = 2 (8 \times 5 + 5 \times 3.5 + 3.5 \times 8) \\ = 2 (40 + 17.5 + 28) \\ = 2 \times 85.5 \\ = 171 m^{2} \end{matrix}

So, lateral surface area = 91 sq cm while total surface area 171 sq. cm. respectively.
