∠ ACB = 45 ° .

ΔABC,

we get

tan θ = P e r p e n d i c u l a r b a s e

45 ° = \frac{AB}{BC}

\Rightarrow 1 = \frac{AB}{BC}

(\tan 45 ° = 1)

\Rightarrow \frac{10}{BC} = 1

\Rightarrow BC = 10

So the length of BC is 10m.
