How can we find the median graphically?

We have been given a table. Firstly, we will convert it into ‘more than type’ chart.

In order to draw an ogive, we need to plot the coordinates of the ‘class’ column against the cumulative frequency.

Hence, we will plot the points (0, 50), (20, 44), (40, 36), (60, 26), (80, 14) 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑜 𝑜𝑛 Number of observations, 𝑁 = 50
