Detailed Solution

Given: Mass of oxygen molecule (m)= 8g

               The molar mass of oxygen molecule (M) = 2x 16 g  = 32g

Solution: No of moles of sodium atoms =Mass of sodium    Molar mass of sodium

                                                                               = 8g  32g= 0.25 moles

1 mole of oxygen molecule will contain 6.022 x 1023 particles.

0.25 moles of oxygen molecule contains = 0.25 x 6.022 x 1023

                                                                   = 1.505 x 1023 particles

The number of particles present in 8g of O2 molecule is 1.505 x 1023 particles.
